Sizing
We get a lot of questions about sizing, so here is everything in one place. Every product page also has a size chart with the body measurements for that specific style.
What size should I order?
Order your usual size. Our pajamas are cut relaxed and roomy on purpose, and most people find them larger than expected. If you are between sizes, or you prefer a closer fit, size down. Our long-sleeved pajamas are the roomiest fit; capri sets have a slightly more fitted top.
What are your sizes?
Women's: XS (0–2), S (4–6), M (8–10), L (12–14), XL (16), with 1XL (18), 2XL (20) and 3XL (22) in select styles.
Men's: S, M, L, XL.
Kids': sizes 2 through 10.
Robes: S/M (4–8) and M/L (10–14).
Will my pajamas shrink?
A little. Cotton shrinks about 5% in the first wash — roughly a quarter inch in length — and we have already built that into the sizing, so you do not need to size up. Our knits are pre-shrunk and our wovens are not, but both settle by about the same amount. Washing cold and tumbling on low, or hanging to dry, keeps it to a minimum.
Do you make men's, kids' or matching family pajamas?
Yes. Several of our prints are made in women's, men's and kids' sizes so families can match. Look for the Family or Men's collections, or search the print name to see every size it comes in.

Fit by style
Long-sleeved pajamas
Modeled after a man's dress shirt, with a notch collar and a roomy, boxy cut. The bottoms are full length with a drawstring and elastic waist. The pants are very roomy and can easily be cinched to smaller sizes. This is our roomiest fit.
Capri pajamas
A cap-sleeve top with ruching on the front and back, which makes it slightly more fitted than our long-sleeved top. The pant is cropped in length with an elastic and drawstring waist.
Short sets
A button-down top with a notch collar and pocket. The shorts have an elastic waist, and our Luxe Pima short set adds a back pocket.
Nightshirt
Also modeled after a man's dress shirt, with an oversized, roomy fit and a mid-thigh to top-of-knee length. Folded-back cuffs and buttons all the way down. Our Pima Knit nightshirt has a narrower lapel and a smaller collar for a more minimalist look, with a pocket on the chest.
Chemise
Adjustable spaghetti straps, a v-neck front and a curved back. It falls below the knee (midi length), with a tapered waist that flares through the hip and sweep.
Nightgown
Sleeveless and simple: a plain front with a pleat between the shoulders in the back, roomy and comfortable. The nightgown lands above the knee.
Kimono robe
Lands above the knee, with a narrow collar and side pockets.
Shawl collar robe
Lands mid-calf, with a wider collar than the kimono robe and side pockets. Our robes fit closer to true to size than the rest of our sleepwear.
Bottoms
We offer several prints in bottoms only. The cut is the same as our long-sleeved pants, with contrast piping on the cuff and a contrast drawstring. We love our pants-only selection because it lets us use some wackier prints that might be too much in a full pajama but are just right with a cozy t-shirt.
